Our beautiful Al doesn't think he gets enough blog time so we will let him host White Wednesday this week. He always looks so good on the blue blankets - they show off his eyes so well.
Looks like he is getting a bit bored with blog hosting so let's just tip toe away and let him nap!
It is also our 300th post (actually last Friday) so in celebration we want to give away a brand new copy of the paperback version of Homer's Odyssey by Gwen Cooper - about handsome house panther who is blind. Gwen had spoken to Blind Cat Rescue in North Carolina before she wrote the book and promised 10% of her royalties. Well, she gave them a $10,000 check last week! Isn't that great? So if you don't win this drawing, go out and buy a copy so Blind Cat Rescue will get even more money!
To enter the drawing just leave a comment and tell me you want in on the give away. It is open to all readers! We will run this give away for the week.
We will be hosting a Mr Linky on Oct. 2 for Livestrong Day so do stop by and link up. We set it up to share Mr Linky on your blog too so join in on this day of cancer awareness and support for cancer patients. Everyone knows someone who has had or has cancer so do join in. Other blogs will be hosting a slide show, another Mr Linky and a special blog for Livestrong Day so check out the side bar and see what else is going on on October 2.
We are playing White Wednesday today so do stop by!
Awwww, sweetie, I understand. Sometimes you're just not in the mood to blog!
ReplyDeleteWe'd like to join but we're very far away; better not as the postage (IF we win) would be crippling.
ReplyDeleteLovely kitty, and such a snoozlebug :-)
Al looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super book ~ please count us in (we live in the UK though ~ so will understand if that's too far to post)
Homer's Odyssey is a great book! I reviewed it on my blog some months back and I really enjoyed it! (Obviously I don't need a copy.) So if you don't have it - and you don't win it - definitely get it! You will be getting more money to Blind Cat Rescue AND a good read!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Al is gorgeous on those blue blankets!! Me and Charlie are waving a big hello to him!!
ReplyDeleteWe would love to link up with you for 2 Oct!!!
Good luck with your giveaway!! I've been around a few writer-ly blogs who really really liked Homer's Odyssey and I am so getting my copy too!!!
Take care

ReplyDeleteWe already have and have read that wonderful book. That is so great that the author gave so much money to the Blind cats. Have a great day.
Hi Al - you have beautiful white furs and you are posing so well for the camera - have you trained as a model?
ReplyDeleteHi, Al, we enjoyed hearing from you today. xxxxxxx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cat-I too have a white cat. She's an angora cat and came to me as a rescue. I think she's at least 18 and her days are limited. I thank God for every day with her and try to love her as much as I can. She was the first pet I ever had!
ReplyDeleteAl looks so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 300th post, that is amazing! I'd love to join your draw, please count me in.
I received your sympathy card yesterday, so very thoughtful of you. Thank you for thinking of me :-)

So much to say. A white kitty is a beautiful kitty. Yes, we'd like to be in on the drawing. Congratulations on your 300th post. Thrilled about the huge donation the author made. And so glad you're doing what you're doing on Oct. 2. We will be going yellow on that day - have definitely been touched by cancer. Everyone has.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, he is absolutely gorgeous. Of course I mean gorgeous in a very masculine way.
ReplyDeleteThat givaway is brilliant and I wold love to be in. I am in the uk too so understand if not possible.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 300 posts. Love the pictures with the blue. Mum wants to do the linky thing and asks how please. ( thicko sometimes )
Hugs GJ xx
Al is a beautiful white cat. and a nice contrast to yesterday featuring black cats (you know we're fond of high black-and-white contrast :).
ReplyDeleteI'm always happy to see Al! I have appreciated his gorjussness from the first time I saw his picture.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so angelic, PURRticularly in the first photo. Who can tell there's a little devil inside (albeit a sleepy devil at the moment)?
We'll put the Livestrong Linky on Pet Blogs United if my mom person remembers!
ReplyDeleteWe want to be entered into this contest, too.
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Al, you are gorjuss on that blue blanket!

Hi Al,
