Earthquake Relief for Japan

Four Happy Cats Painting.

This post is dedicated to all the humans and fellow beings that perished in the catastrophic earthquake/tsunami in Japan on 3/11/11.

Please help in any way you can.  Red Cross is taking donations to help Japan - go to Red Cross.

Great blog article is How to Donate Money by Cell Phone to Quake Victims in Japan.

Another article lists Six Ways You Can Help Quake Victims with links to international aid organizations.

UPDATE
Thanks for the info on World Vets - they have a Facebook Page collecting donations for their Japan Relief and Rescue Fund.

Terry of Curlz and Swirlz has more animal rescue organizations helping in Japan.

Whatever your faith, send the people and all beings of Japan your prayers, healing light, Reiki or positive energy.  They will need every bit to recover after this huge disaster.

Go Forward With Courage

When you are in doubt, be still, and wait;
when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage.
So long as mists envelop you, be still;
be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists
-- as it surely will.
Then act with courage.

  3. Abby woke me up around 2am last night and on the radio station I was listening to they were talking about the disaster that was being reported on CNN. I turned on the TV and immediately thought that Heaven gates had opened up, so many I know have perished so quickly. Our prayers went immediately to those who lives have been lost and those who have been hurt, and to those who lived and will need to rebuild.

  8. We are so sad tonight thinking of the animals. It is hard to watch the news but we must. We made a donation to the Red Cross for the humans and to WorldVets.org for the animals today...

  9. Meant to mention specifically, how many of us are especially concerned about "Cat Island" where the only residents are cats and elderly people. The only thing I have found is that it's likely underwater, which really adds to the horror of this whole incident. Perhaps you have some resources and can let us know.

    In the meantime, let's visualize bright, healing light over that nation, so no one has to suffer more.
