Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. Mom worked all but Sunday and spent that getting some plants for her garden and containers. She has to get out early to work int he yard or it gets too hot.
We are having a late spring heat wave here in the upper 80's and low 90's all week long. The older cats are cool and comfy in the house with the air conditioning on. A tad bit cooler than they would like but Mom has to be comfy too!

The white cats have a screen porch to lounge on and the building is built into the hillside which keeps it cool on hot days. They were all sleeping in their favorite spots on the porch as hot as it was. They get a good breeze most days and we have fans going for them.
How are you coping with the heat? We hope it is not going to a a scorcher summer like last year! Stay cool!

It hasn't gotten too hot here yet! It's still very pleasant, with open windows and no air conditioning yet. But we live in southern California, so we know the heat is coming!
Sound like your porch is Awesome ! and Cold you down.
I got no problem with the heat because I'm heading to Winter !!! Tomorrow will be the first day ...Cold brrrr !!!

We don't have too much heat to cope with yet. Humidity yesterday, which is a bit uncomfortable, but we're not into the 80s and 90s right now.
We hope you all stay cool and well-hydrated! Your beans too!

Bootiful picturers. It's getting hot here too - not as hot as you have it, but hot and muggy for us. The AV has been turned on but maybe tomorrow we can turn it off and open windows again.

We're expecting 97 today with a heat index over 100. If it were July that would be ok but not in MAY.

We know what's like when it is hot as we live in the tropics. To keep us cool, our human slave either wash or mop the floor several times a day. At times we have our own fan blowing.
Heat? What heat?? We haven't gotten about 65 yet I don't think. But all those cute photos of sleeping kittehs has made me want to go curl up for a nap...=^..=
It is so hot here. Be glad you live up there. It is supposed to be 98 all week long. Those are such good pictures. Hope Mom is feeling better. Stay cool all of you.
We are having a heat wave here in Central Ohio. Temps in the nineties. Not fun but we have air conditioning.
We HATES the heat, and it hasn't been as hot here as the rest of the country has had it. Seems it is starting really early this year - that can't be good. Time to move to Canada!
We are just starting to experience the hot weather here. It's about 90 deg. F today. I sure hope it doesn't turn into a heat wave like you have, though.

It gets very hot here, and we've had some very JULY like weather. We've watched Mom and Dad toil outside in the garden and we meow at them and tell them to come inside but neither one of them will listen to us.
