Chica here today with our Easter weekend post. As some of you may know I have had an unsettling week and had to go to the V-E-T three times this week for emergency sub q fluids. It seems I am needing them more often now and Mom tried to give them to me but was not very successful! She thinks she has the hang of it so we will see how it goes. I would much rather have her do it at home and not have to go to the V-E-T any more than I have to. Otherwise I am feeling fine - eating and getting around as usual.
On a lighter note...our yard is full of lovely spring flowers - we have azaleas and dogwoods in bloom now and the colors are just lovely! All the trees are leafing out and soon we will be back in our private canopy of forest! Enjoy the photos.

I will end with a photo of our second oldest Yoko who is 19 this month! How time flies. Wishing you all a lovely Easter weekend filled with happiness and lots of goodies, surrounded by loved ones! Happy Easter from all of us at Wildcat Woods!

Oh, Chica, we missed that you had to go the vet, and three times at that! We're so sorry, but hope you feel better now and that your mom is able to give you fluids at home. Lots of purrs to you (and to you all, fur and human).

Oh dear friend - so sorry about your fluid thing not going well. Tell mom to hang in there and keep trying. It gets easier with more practice. M says the kitty before me had to have fluids and she lived an extra 2 years with being on them. I'll purr for you too.. Happy Easter to your and your family.

I would be scared to try doing the sub Q fluids at home but can certainly understand why a kitteh would prefer not to go to the vet so often! I hope you are feeling better.
