I have lost dear friends, my father and several pets to cancer over the years. Everyone has been affected by cancer - of a loved one, friend, co-worker, pet. No one is exempt. This is why the Livestrong Foundation is so important - they provide support, information and resources to help improve the lives of people everywhere affected by cancer.
So today, we join in - "Fighting Like Hell on Livestrong Day" to show our support for those with cancer, those who have survived cancer and to remember those who lost their lives to cancer.
For those people who have fought hard and won as well as those who are still fighting, we offer this lovely quote:

And for those who have lost a beloved family member, friend or pet:

That's beautiful. The only way to encourage finding a cure is to offer a deadline to researchers. As long as they keep getting money, they'll keep stalling. JMHO.
