Pop has planted broccoli and kale and they seem to be doing great this winter. It has been a mild one with just a few cold nights in the 20s.
I think the weather has messed up our flowers - the daffodils are coming out of the ground a couple of months early and the phlox is actually blooming! We even had some forsythia blooms back in December.
That was it for the garden tour folks. Back to my nap with Woody. Have a good weekend and don't forget that Sunday Jan 13 is Rubber Ducky Day. Find a rubber ducky and join in the fun! Feel free to steal the pic on the sidebar for your post or blog.

Nothing has been growing well in our garden. It has been waterlogged and flooded most of the summer and all winter. We do have a small rose bush that has kept flowering. It is very brave!
Love that first shot, it's priceless!
My goodness, we're a frozen wasteland up here, and will be for 3 or 4 months. We're impressed with your plants!
Canada Geese started returning to the Swamp months early this year. No Global Warming, they say? mmmhmmmm...
My human loves kale! We have neighbors who grow it. They gave a bag to the humans once and they had kale chips for a few days!
Enjoy your nap with Woody. Our forsythia is blooming now, it is way to early (sigh).
Good for Don to be growing brocolli etc. It looks really good. Bet that will be good eating. The flowers are pretty too. Take care.
The garden looks wonderful. Even if you didn't eat all those things, you could have a great time playing in them.....
Have a great day.
hugs, Max, Bugsy and Knuckles
Your garden looks great!! We love the picture with your little tongue sticking out. You two sweeties enjoy your nap. Hugs and nose kisses
Nice garden tour, Tabitha! Yes, this weather is making the plant by our house all crazypants, too. :(
Have a great nap with Woody!

Thanks for sharing : )

Oh we agree with you a nap is certainly more important than kale. :)))))
Hi guys, very nice garden, not sure where you live, but if you can grow veggies in Winter, pawsome. We can too, but Dad and Mom don't know how and well, they just don't take the time...sigh...hope you got back to nappin', paw pats, Savannah
It's nice to see things still growing and flowering.
The lilacs across the street had a few blooms a while back. Really weird weather the past couple winters.
Dear Tabitha, you are such a fabulous gardener, you are doing very well!
Lovely pictures!
Luna - WE LOVE LUNA
Tabitha your garden is beautiful! I was reading a doggy's blog this morning that said that their forsythia's (sp?) were blooming early too. Crazy weather!!!
That first photo just makes me laugh! So freakin' cute! My ground has about six inches of snow on it, so I'm very jealous looking at your garden. I like to grow broccoli and kale, too, but of course not right now. :-)
My mom's daffodils are also about 4 inches up out of the ground. Just like last year. It is so un-natural. All the bulbs, daffy's and tulips, everyone was finished long about the time they were supposed to come up.
You two look so adorably squeezable in there. xoxox
Our kale's hanging in there too, whew! And so is our rosemary and our parsley. But the chard and the lettuces - pffft! Too many freezies over here...
You have a good weekend too - love the winter Kale!!!!
