Woody on Mancat Monday

I have a very special drinking technique but I don't think Mom really likes it much!  I stand with both front paws in the water bowl and lift one paw and slurp the water off it.  Makes the water tastes soo much better! Do you have an interesting eating or drinking habit?

Our friend, I am sure you know her, Julia Williams has started a personal cat blog called Purr Therapy - she needs some followers so do go by, visit and sign on!  Purr Therapy

One more thing - Mom has joined a photography group online where she posts a photo a day. (365project.org)  Now she wants to share the pics of us since she has sooo many photos now.  On our Facebook Page she will be posting a photo a day of us  - come on by and follow along.  The link to the FB page in on the sidebar!

  3. Interesting and creative approach to drinking!

You couldn't possibly "pay us" enough (in treats) to stick our paws in water!

  4. That is odd. Don't your feet get cold? Lola sometimes drinks from the tap, but that's about it.

  7. Woody, the way you drink water is so cute! I'm not so sure it's all that sanitary, though. mol.

Thank you for the shout out, it's much appreciated!

  9. Looks good to me Woody! My sister Kit dips her bib in the big water bowl and gets it soaked!

  10. That is a very unusual way to drink your water. Hope you don't do that after a trip to the litter box. Our angel Daphne would stick her paw in the water and drink the water off of it as you do. She, however, never stood in the bowl…probably wasn't enough room for her big feet.
Yesterday we celebrated our 1st blogoversary. An award was given to multi-cat blog sites, so you all have an award waiting for you at http://www.thecatonmyhead.com/our-first-blogoversary/. Hope you will accept it. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  11. Woody that's a first for Mom.
We all drink fairly normally the only thing funny is Ping must be 'served' his water before breakfast and he skims his tongue across the entire bowl. He does this every.single.morning.

  12. We only put our paws in the water if there is ice to play with. And no standing in it. Though that would be a great way to flick a wet paw at an unsuspecting passing friend!

  13. Ugh, Woody! I would NEVER do that - I hate getting wet!

  14. No that's pretty cute! I've had kitties play drinking games, but never with both paws!

  19. This is great! Our sister Tessa drinks her water off her paws but she doesn't stand in the water. Since we saw her really studying your photo, we're pretty sure she'll give that a try! Thanks! Purrs....

  20. That is quite an unusual drinking technique, but if it works we say why not :)

Luna just laps up her water in a very ordinary way. But she has other quirks.
