Nov 2 - Happy 7th Gotcha Day Snowball!

We have a big problem - our Internet is down along with our land line so Mom had to post this early from work but she is off the next three days. This is par for the course for me - Mom usually forgets and does it at the last minute or not at all.  But I do know how much she loves me so I let it pass.

Since Nov 2 is the Day of the Dead, we thought this will be our theme this year.  We will have lots of authentic Mexican finger foods and tasty sugar skulls for dessert!

I have lost lots of weight (not too much tho) since my emergency vet visit earlier this year for a UTI and blockage.  Now I am so slim and trim, Mom can't tell me from the other white cats. All she did was stop feeding me dry foods and just give me canned. I did not like this one bit but now I am able to get around so much better and my hips do not hurt me anymore like they did.

I won't bore you with the story of how I can to be with Mom and Pop and the other cats but if you don't know and want to read about it just click here.

Just relax and help yourself to the food, music, and enjoy the festivities!  Thanks for stopping by!  Oh and don't forget what this day is for - take a moment to remember, light a candle or visit a grave to honor a two or four-legged being who has come before and crossed over to the other side.  We have lost so many this year.

If anyone needs to reach Mom - please use her cell phone as she has no Internet access (no smartphone) and no landline!  We will let y'all know when we are back in business again!

Did you know Mommy's very first cat was named Snowball. She always smiles when there is a post about you because she remembers her Snowball.

  16. HAPPY HAPPY GOTCHA DAY SNOWBALL!!!
There must be some planetary alignment that is affecting technology.
We were without Internet and cable TV for over 8 hrs yesterday but ours was due to high winds.
Hope all is restored for you soon!

  18. Happy Gotcha Day, Snowball! You surely picked a great home, even if your mom does do things last minute (our mom does the same thing). Those are some great foods, so thanks for sharing. We think the Day of the Dead is much scarier than Halloween. We hope you are up and running soon! Purrs!

  29. I hope mewz Gotcha day was as lovely as mew are! I am impressed mew lost weight and were able to survive on canned food only. My vet lady told my human to try this on me as she mistakes me for a ladycat who is 'fat'!!! I am FLOOFY, not fat, but even IF this were true I could NOT live without my kibbie noms! The fact mew have been able to do so amazes me, mew must share mewz secret: how did mew not starve?!
Seven years having a forever family and home is the best, and mew deserve nothing less and many more. Purrrrrrrr!

  32. Have a great Gotcha Day Snowball. We know about how hard the switch is from dry to wet food. We all did it a few years ago in support of our Buddy Budd who was 20 pounds. He is now a svelte 14 and no longer limps.
Very interesting about the Day of the Dead. We have lost too many this year.
